The series delves into the complex true-crime story of the two couples, revealing how a 17-year-old investigation led to the uncovering of a conspiracy between Denise and Brian, whose affair with Denise was a motive for the murder, and the key role of Brian's ex-wife, Kathy, in exposing the truth.
